Jennifer is the owner along with her husband, David when they purchased the former Gallagher home and Bridal House building in 2006. Her vision came to life then after they renovated it to be a comfortable, friendly salon and spa within one of the most beautiful, historic homes in the area. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1988 and worked in a large salon before leaving to be able to stay home and raise her children while working at her home salon. Since opening Senn-sations Salon and Day spa has experienced several exciting opportunities including several news articles for our work donating to breast cancer foundations, a filming of a hair care product commercial with stylists from NYC, we were in charge of doing the hair and makeup for the Lucyfest wedding contestant winner in Jamestown, NY for the annual Lucille Ball comedy festival, and we were featured on an episode of the Style Network’s television show Split Ends where we hosted a stylist from LA for a week. She along with a couple other team members volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Look Good Feel Better program. Jennifer has traveled to several hair shows from coast to coast and has logged in many hours of continuing education and training on the newest trends and techniques.
She is passionate about serving the clients who come into the salon with the very best experience possible and has created a team of like minded staff who provide top notch service and excellent customer care. She works 3 days a week in the salon with clients and is a salon business consultant with Empowering You Consulting.
She and David have been married since 1990 and have 3 children. Hayden is a student at the International School, of Optometry in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Wesley is a sophomore at Alfred University and Madelyn is a junior at Randolph Central School.
Lisa graduated from Hewes Vo-tech cosmetology program in 1988. She first started working at Price Cutters in Jamestown, NY in 1988 as an assistant and moved up to a stylist soon after. She rented a booth at a couple area salons before joining the team at Senn-sations in 2007. She has been doing hair for almost 30 years. In the course of the years, she has continued training and perfecting all of her skills. She is in charge of mentoring and training any new stylists who join the staff and sharing her expertise. She has incorporated all of the new techniques so she can be the best she can be for all of her clients and attends trade shows in NYC to keep up on the trends.
Some classes she has completed are Hanzo dry hair cutting techniques, Wella in salon training and went to NYC for Empowering You’s leadership training. She also volunteers for the Look Good Feel Better program at WCA Hospital which is through the Cancer Society. She helps women feel better about themselves while going through cancer treatments. In addition to all of the hair services that she does, she enjoys doing facials, foot scrubs and aromatherapy treatments. She lives in Kennedy with her husband and they have three children and three grandsons.
